A custom-designed set, a little fall inspiration, and a studio photo experience created for Tovala's NYC brand activation.

For their event at Maxwell Social in New York City, Tovala wanted to showcase their innovative oven while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests.

Flux Photobooth Company brought the vision to life with a custom photo set and professional studio photography experience. Inspired by the colors and textures of fall, the setup combined thoughtful styling with an editorial approach to event portraits.

The Concept: A Fall-Inspired Photo Set

The creative direction centered around creating a space that felt cozy, stylish, and a little nostalgic.

Rather than using a traditional branded backdrop, we explored a custom set inspired by vintage interiors, warm autumn colors, and eclectic European bistro styling.

The goal was to create an environment that complemented Tovala's oven showcase while giving guests a dedicated space for photos.

We explored different visual directions, including soft drapery and a vintage-inspired gallery-wall concept. The final design featured rich floral wallpaper and dark wood-inspired details, bringing warmth and character to the studio setup.

From Mockup to Final Set

One of our favorite parts of creating custom photo experiences is seeing an idea move from a digital concept to a physical installation.

For Tovala, the mockup helped establish the visual direction before the final set came together.

The finished design featured layered textures, warm tones, and vintage-inspired details that complemented the event's atmosphere.
